TAIPEI MUSIC EXPO is a platform designed for in-depth business matching and exchange to address the needs of Taiwan's pop music industry. TMEX will bring together over 40 music businesses from Taiwan and abroad, including renowned music festivals, record labels, production houses, and talent agencies, showcasing the dynamic energy of Taiwan's pop music scene. Bridging the local industry with global connections, Taipei Music Center has invited 25 international music industry leaders from 12 countries, along with 20+ major Taiwanese music festivals and 40+ music brands, aiming to expand the Mandopop market. This diverse gathering includes music producers, performers, agencies, record companies, and festival curators from Taiwan and abroad, fostering extensive networking opportunities. The expo features trade show, international forum, roadshow, and rising stars, allowing foreign buyers to experience music performances and networking, thereby gaining a comprehensive understanding of Taiwan's diverse pop music landscape.

The top 20 ticketed music festivals in Taiwan and over 40 domestic and overseas brands, including record companies, artist agencies, concert productions, and more, gather up to showcase their ideas, achievements, and products.

For the first time, key music festivals and brands in Taiwan will gather at the TMEX Stage to share innovative plans for the music and cultural industry. This is an opportunity to gain insight into the overall ecosystem and the latest developments in Taiwanese music businesses.

 

➤JAM JAM ASIA

Initiated by the Taipei Music Center, JAM JAM ASIA is a highlight of The 2024 TRENDY TAIPEI, featuring over 50 performances across just two days at TMC. This a city music festival tailored for Taipei, showcases over 50 acts across 5 specially curated stages, bringing together a diverse lineup from Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and beyond.

This special event leads audiences to explore the possibilities of music through interaction. Aside from performances, it will include meet-and-greets, improvisational initiatives, and fan engagement activities.

 

➤2024 TAIPEI MUSIC NON-STOP

Organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Taipei City Government, TAIPEI MUSIC NON-STOP not only discovers aspiring artists but also provides stages and training opportunities for music creators in Taiwan. Over the years, through open screenings, it has discovered numerous creative teams with high potential, including EggPlantEgg, Caotun Boyz, Ciwas Losin, Ruby ∞ Fatale, Leaf Yeh, Human Hart, and Grass Walkers. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, this year’s event will feature original music competitions, professional training, round-the-island tours, band exchanges, and industry matchmaking. A grand "TAIPEI MUSIC NON-STOP 10th Anniversary Concert" will be held at the Taipei Music Center, where the top 6 teams will perform alongside previous years’ selected bands. TAIPEI MOJO is a celebrity talk series blending music, technology, and culture. "MOJO" refers to both a legendary band and a 2023 AI programming language. Taipei is seen as a place of magic and charm, especially by Taiwanese abroad. The event features internationally recognized celebrities who began in Taipei.
